A Portrait Photography Journey
There is no one word to truly describe Alexis. Powerful, kind, smart-as-hell, they all seem to fall short of the true excellence this woman possesses. When I was at a low point in confidence in myself and my photography, Alexis believed in me and my art. She pushed me to find my style and rediscover my passion for portrait photography. I now strive to help all humans find themselves in front of my camera, the way Alexis helped me find myself behind the camera.
There is something magical that happens when you release the societal pressures of what a photoshoot SHOULD look like and embrace what you WANT your photoshoot to look like. We can literally create anything you want. And there is power in that. Power in the ability to share parts of you, parts of me, through the images we create together at your photoshoot.
It's essential that we all take the opportunity to foster inclusive beliefs in our society. Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ rights, and equal rights for all should be championed and upheld. By recognizing our unique differences and embracing them, we can create a culture of greater respect and understanding. Let's continue to stand together in solidarity, showing our support for inclusivity and equality, and recognize that all people are worthy and deserving of respect, love and beautiful photos. Together, we can create a more inclusive and just society that works for everyone.
